Fantastic experience: Fantastic, friendly and Professional staff . We are new clients and I felt very welcome . The vet treated my dog quickly and calmly . A good experience.

Negative experience: Booked our dog into a different vet for inflamed ear canal but She was accidentally taken into Clive vets. The new vet nurse didn’t even check her ears before saying she may need surgery to remove some of her ear canal before she can look inside her ear and give her medicine she needs. She didn’t even take any tests nor check her ears before suggesting surgery and quoting $1500-1900 for the medical procedure before doing surgery which is alot more. The mother to this dog had the same ear infections every year and at other vets I’ve taken her to the cost is around $200-300. So I knew something was wrong. We left and took her to another vet. They checked her ears and did some tests resulting in medication and ear drops total cost for that appointment was $200 which is Normal and her ears are better now. Not the thousands of dollars the vet nurse at Clive vets quoted. This isn’t the first time they suggested surgery and we went ahead with surgery in the past all to find nothing there. Costing us thousands that time. I think they are scammers! Should be avoided at all cost!

Fantastic experience: An Absolutely amazing group of people. We have always used a vet closer to us with our dogs and cats but after our bunny broke his back leg we contacted Clive vets as had heard amazing feedback on the bunny pages about Alister. Lots of vets arent well equipped to deal with rabbits but clive vets handled and loved on our little terror and we're successful in amputating his back leg. Its been a week and hes the same old bunny as before and without the team at Clive vets he wouldn't have made it. We will be moving all our pets over to them for anything they need in the future

Negative experience: Had 2 of our frenchies spayed by this vet, mother and daughter. We decided to go there as advised by other customers due to lower cost. One of the spays was ok but she was ill for 2 days afterwards. Not eating nor drinking and vomiting but she came right. I went in for a consultation for the puppy and was told she can have the spay before her first heat so I booked her in and got it done at 6 months old. Her recovery went well but 1 1/2 weeks after her spay surgery she became very sick. We were thinking maybe she ate something she shouldn’t have eaten and her stomach wasn’t digesting it well due to the recent surgery and being so young so we took her back to this vet. They hospitalised her and put her on the drip for the day and she still was very ill so they said they had no choice but to do exploratory surgery to find out what the problem was and if anything was blocking the intestines. Turns out nothing was blocking the intestines and they were just a bit swollen and she needed another day in hospital to recover which she did. The cost of that was very high and unaffordable for the owner. Even though it was still lower than other vets. Our old vet advised her spay should have been done around 10 months so after her first heat now I know why she said that. I believe she was just too small and young to have the spay just incase she had eaten something toxic like she did and her stomach wasn’t able to digest it whereas our other puppy same age, that ate the same thing but didn’t get spayed, digested it and came right after a few days. Came her to save money on vet costs but ended up with a Very costly outcome.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency with my dog late Saturday afternoon. They slotted me in straight away, checked him out and gave me meds required. The amount of care and professionalism was amazing in such a worrying time. So affordable compared to others in the bay also... so very grateful for them.

They were very accommodating and saw her last minute even tho we weren't a patient of theirs. The whole team were lovely, friendly and professional. Highly reccomend this vet clinic.

Fantastic experience: Had our 13 year old lab put down today after a couple of days of awesome care from you guys. I cannot believe that a more competent caring and empathetic group of animal carers exists. Alistair, I was pretty upset as you saw and was unable to convey my thanks. You were awesome and what I most appreciated told it like it was in an exceptionally caring manner. Please accept my thanks here. Unfortunately we are out of animals in our house now so may not see you guys regularly. If anyone is looking for vet care or thinking of changing this team excells.

Negative experience: Very poor experience, feel vets were dismissive. Took dog in very unwell, picked her up in worse state. Communication was poor.

Positive experience: A lovely bunch of professionals who really love animals

Negative experience: Dog swallowed fish hook. Estimate for after hours fee, sedate and X-ray $500-$550. Final amount paid $649. And then estimate of $3,000 plus to take the hook out. Very disappointed.

If you care for your fur babies this is the place to take them. No doubt I will be staying with them for the rest of time. I know my Neapolitan mastiff agrees with me, he cries to go there even when he is not sick. Thank you team for getting konan back on his feet

Negative experience: I made a appointment with this vet but when I got to the vet there were 3 other people with animals who were seen before me when i had made a appointment they knew my dog was in serious pain (stomach cancer/tumor and failed kidneys and he needed to be put down, they knew that but they still made my dog wait!!!!!! ☠

Turned up unannounced at opening time and when I was explaining to the nurse what was up she took him immediately out back and went to work on him. By the time we got out to the car she had a diagnoses and treatment plan. Very reassuring, caring and competent. Rubio came out a lot happier than he came in.

Fantastic experience: Friendly helpful staff. They are certainly in the right line of work as they love all the animals they treat. My lil pomeranian Roxy was attacked by other dogs they told me to take her straight out there which I did. The vet's and nurses got straight onto treating her and vet Alistar did emergency surgery on her. If it hadn't been for their wonderful care of Roxy we wouldn't have her now. Thanks to all the wonderful staff she has made a full recovery.
