Fantastic experience: The best thing I’ve ever done for my animals was switch to Coastal Pet Vets. Justin, Cameron, and the entire team are fantastic. I recently took our family cat in to have a dental issue checked. Thankfully, it turned out to be nothing serious, but I unexpectedly received some other difficult news. Cameron was incredible throughout the appointment. He took the time to clearly explain all of our options, what we can do moving forward, and what to expect in the future for our fur baby. For the first time, I truly felt like the veterinary service was focused on the wellbeing of the animals rather than the money. Cameron, thank you so much. I was having a tough day, and your empathy, compassion, and genuine care for both my cat and me were outstanding. Fantastic experience: We are incredibly grateful to the entire team for the compassion and care you showed our beloved Tilly in her final days. From the regular updates while she was in your care to the kindness of the staff who sat with her in her final hours, we always felt she was surrounded by love. The handwritten card, paw and nose prints, and the small vial of her fur were such thoughtful gifts that brought us immense comfort during a heartbreaking time. The day after Tilly passed, I found myself wishing I had kept some of her fur. Discovering that you had thoughtfully included a little vial with the card meant more than I can express. Thank you for treating Tilly with such dignity and for supporting our family with so much compassion. We will never forget it.

Today you fit me in when most other clinics said they were too busy, during a chicken emergency where I was upset and struggling with 2 yoing kids in tow. The receptionist was absolutely beautiful (even going as far as to help me put my babies in the car) and the vet was kind, professional and understanding. From someone with 9 years in the Veterinary industry I am very impressed by your team and so thankful for your empathy and kindness. Fantastic experience: Quiet in the reception area and there was an aroma that was very calming. The vet, Dr. Cameron Paul has the magic "touch" to instantly calm my stressed cat. Gives great advice, very supportive and more importantly, he genuinely loves cats and dogs.

I’m not from the area, but when Digby suddenly needed urgent surgery, Cameron stepped in with absolute professionalism and compassion. From the moment we walked through the door, the care was above and beyond. Cameron was calm, kind, and incredibly nurturing; not just to Digby, but to me as well during a really stressful time. He treated my dog like his own, and that made all the difference. Every single staff member we encountered went above and beyond; from the friendly, reassuring reception team to the amazing support from the other vet, Justin, who was also so kind and helpful. It’s rare to find a team that is not only highly skilled but also so genuinely caring. I’m beyond grateful. If you’re ever in need, this is the place you want to be.

Unfortunately the second visit was a one way trip for Garfield but I found Cameron to be gentle, compassionate and knowledgeable. Garfield despite his feral status did not flinch or growl in his presence and neither did I . I see that Cameron has got attached to his qualifications a Hons in Wildlife and this quality was evident due to his rapport with Garfield. So thank you Cameron and your team at Coastal Pet Vet. Fantastic experience: We got a stray kitten and could come straight away with her. They gave her the best care and didn't want to push for vaccines since she was a bit ill. They really cared. After a week I got a call to see how she was doing. I'm coming from Europe and walking in a vet where they are so friendly and know my pet is so important.. We found ours now and even my partner whose kiwi said she never felt this comfortable at a vet.

We called Justin (not our usual vet - who was "unable" to attend) and he and Marion were at our home in less than 20 minutes. Another time I had to get my rescue cat checked and despite bringing myself and 3 children into the room, I wasn't once made to feel like a hassle and I'm usually super sensitive with that stuff. Great people and can always fit me in if it's urgent.

I arrived here with my un vaccinated puppy fresh off the boat and from the start Coastal Vets expertly navigated me through all the necessary first steps - vaxing, chips, worm and fleas, food etc. The Staff are chill and friendly with heaps of knowledge and a genuine concern for the welfare of your beasties. It's convenient location means there's always a park and there's a great coffee shop opposite. Excellent choice for Papamoanians!

We'd only been here 2 weeks and it was time to put our much loved elderly cat to sleep. Justin and the whole team were amazing and made it as easy as possible for us. Now we have a puppy and the team have been super helpful with anything we've needed. So lovely to go into the practice for social visits with our puppy, during which everyone makes a big fuss of her!
