Fantastic experience: The Vet clinic in Papamoa is the Best. For years we have taken our Family Dog to be treated by Brett the Vet and his caring staff. I Recommend taking your Loved animals there for the Best help they could receive. Food and other supplies are there for purchase also.

Negative experience: Worst Vet I ever experienced. Rude and insensitive He told me my cat would not be able to fly with me to my new Country of choice. Whent to onother Vet Got the all ok to take my persian to my new home. Now my cat is here with me happy and healthy since day one! What a waste of a time he was.

When it was time to say goodbye they were supportive, understanding and offered us time and space throughout the process. Negative experience: Recently moved to papamoa from the mount, called to get appointment for our dog as a new customer. Were told just easier to go back to vet at mount as they already have our details, even though they had an appointment available. Wouldn’t bother ring this vet if new to the aera.

Negative experience: Frankly a disgusting experience from this practice. We took our cat after hours as she was struggling to breathe and clearly in a lot of trouble, hence it was an emergency. The vet who met us there (Brett) was more focused on getting his payment than treating our sick animal. He hadn’t even looked at her before asking us to fill a form out to sort the payment, once we started to explain what was happening to her he abruptly interrupted us by telling us to finish filling out the payment information. He was blatantly rude, and showed no compassion towards us our our cat. She passed away yesterday morning after he continually said she is fine and told us not to worry.. absolutely devastated and angry.

Fantastic experience: Beach Road Vet Clinic is the veterinary practice that we have used since we moved here in 1989. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Brett and his team if you are seeking help from someone who puts the needs of any and all animals first - that includes hedgehogs, seal pups, sea gulls and any other animal that might be in trouble. In the years since 1989 we have had to two dogs and several cats that have needed to be eased out of this world because of pain from serious illness. We have had awesome support from Brett, his locum vets and his nurses during the times of care and then decision-making. The comfort of the animal has been paramount, as has seeking extra time where practicable. In my experience, they could not be faulted and consequently I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic experience: We have been taking our animals to Brett at Beach Road Vet Clinic for over 17 years. He is a skilled and knowledgable vet. He is happy to refer you onto a specialist if that is best for your animal. His ability to find information about unusual cases is wonderful. If he doesn't know, he can find out, and he will then be able to treat your rare pet. We even named one of our Gordon Setter puppies after him. That puppy lived for over 15 years, and owed his existance to Brett.Be it a lizard a turtle or a fish, Brett has knowledge of these creatures. His time working overseas gave him experience with many different animals, and we get the benefit of that now. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: We have two mature cats and a fabulous kitten. Brett and the team have been accessible and reliable with routine health care and also advice - for example, recommending a great cattery for our pets over the summer holidays. What I really like about Brett as a vet is that he is calm and very skilled. He asks about the personalities of each individual animal and takes that into account with the treatment plan. When faced with a pretty ugly looking burst abcess in one of our mature cats, he allowed for the natural healing process, without being too interventionist which saved us money, and our cat further pain!

Fantastic experience: We moved to Papamoa a few years ago. We have a beautiful labrador and some very chilled out cats! Brett has been their vet and has always been very caring towards them and always given us good advice about their healthcare. Our Lab became a little overweight because a family member is a big softy! Brett has been great at keeping them both on the straight and narrow. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brett and his team to anyone.
