She took initiative to contact my previous vet in a different city to ensure the best outcome when administering anesthetic for an operation as my pet struggled with a previous operation. Fantastic experience: This was our first visit to Papamoa Village vets. The clinic was clean and tidy, and the staff were helpful, friendly and cooperative. They were very understanding and accommodating when I had to cancel my first visit at short notice. The vet, Camille, was gentle and kind when handling my cat. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Sadly we were contacted by Pap Village Vets as a community member brought in our deceased cat to be microchipped scanned to find us. They went above and beyond for us. They wrote a beautiful card, took paw prints for us. They even contacted the person who posted our cat online to try track us down to take down the post so we did not have to view it. Thank you for being there for us in such a tough time! You showed great kindness and empathy- we really appreciated it!

Fantastic experience: Melani and the team are so caring and considerate of my pet and myself. They are very understanding when I need to discuss options and are up front about any costs. Melani is very knowledgeable, explains my pets needs clearly and makes me feel that no question is a silly question. When my pet is anxious they treat him calmly and as if he is their own. They're a great team!

Fantastic experience: First time at Papamoa Village Vets. Very clean, modern and presentable. Reception was welcoming and friendly. Calm atmosphere for our puppy. Was effortlessly weight with appropriate food bribes. Seen by Melani who had such a great demeanour with our pup. Efficient checks of her health, appropriate jabs and we were on our way. Overall, a great experience for us and our pup. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Overpriced and overtrimmed 9 nails too short. I had my dog have a lipoma removed which they offered free nail clipping. My dog didn't need this done but I stated if there is any little bits of excess they are welcome to cut it off. To get my dog home with bleeding toes and already upset from coming off anesthesia, this was something I wasn't happy about yet having other problems with communication aswell as i requested staples and internal stitches for the lipoma removal i was not listened to leading me into 3 days later having a vet come out and having to actually use staples like they were supposed to as my dog has had surgery before and has usually had staples and internal stitches have just never been enough. Worst vets I have dealt with by far and I've been to many. Put the most ungraphic photo/foot on to prove a point that this isn't okay.

Fantastic experience: Have two Italian Greyhounds and the vet has experience with these dogs. Just wanted to say how efficient and helpful the staff are.....so glad we found a vet close by!

The Veterinary Nurses are amazing - their dedication and expertise are truly commendable. The receptionists are always warm and friendly, making each visit a pleasant experience. Highly recommended for their outstanding service and genuine care for our furry family members!
