Fantastic experience: I can only say that highest praise must go to the doctors and team at Vetlife. Dr Olivia dealt with Felix professionally and efficiently, cleaning his teeth and giving me his dental health status. I trust her. This is very important to me. Jan at the desk could not have been nicer as was Yoshiko the vet nurse. They gave me helpful advice and did not rush me. I am very grateful to them for being so caring and kind. Sadly, 5 months after this review, I had to take Felix back to the vet. He had gone completely off his food. I was devastated to learn that he had a large mass. I saw Dr John first who diagnosed the problem. He was wonderful. An ultrasound was taken and I was shown the results. Everything was professionally and gently explained to me. I was not pressured to make a prompt decision. I was given various treatment options. I was given time and shown compassion. As unprepared as I was for the parting, I could not find it in my heart to put Felix through an op with a very slim chance of extending his life by much. He could have simply suffered more. I was sick to my stomach and in anguish over the decision. However, I made it and decided to euthanize my pet of 11 happy years. I had adopted him when he was a young adult, so he may have been 13. I said my painful goodbyes and left his little body there. Next day I prepared a grave in my garden then fetched little Felix. He had been beautifully prepared, all curled up and in a biodegradable bag all ready for burial. I received a beautiful card with his paw print bearing the inscription "You were loved". I was also given two small vials of his fur as a keepsake. What can I say? No one could have done better than this team! I was there from 3.45 until 6.30. And the charge was also a godsend. What amazing people. No words! RIP Felix, the famous fat and fabulous feline of the farm! Forever loved!

Fantastic experience: I phoned in to Vetlife St Kilda on New Years Day morning and left a message with emergency after hours. Heard back almost immediately that my border collie could be seen within the hour at Vetlife in Mosgiel. He had a small infected wound in his leg, and after the vet explained my options and risks involved, I ended up opting for surgery to check for anything lodged in the wound. The vets found and removed a large fragment of grass seed that had burrowed several cm into the skin. Preparation and surgery were all done within 2 hours of arriving. I am beyond grateful to the vets on duty for their service, delivered with kindness and on very short notice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to two other vet clinics around town over the years, but I’m so glad I decided to come here not just because it was significantly more convenient for me. I asked to see Dr Olivia based on recommendation from a friend; her and the entire team have been nothing but wonderful to deal with. They were incredibly gentle and sweet with my boys, and gave them lots of cuddles. I really liked our previous vet a lot but that clinic charged way more compared to this practice. This clinic is far more reasonable and understanding with costs than our previous clinic. They also seem to have more availability with appointments than other places too.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic vets, had 2 sick dogs, We saw Olivia and John, both amazing and compassionate. Im so happy to find a vet that genuinely cares! My girls are better!

Fantastic experience: A short wait due to a couple of emergencies but overall the staff are very professional and caring when it comes to your furry friends. 4pm on a Friday is a busy time to visit and perhaps other weekdays days and times may suit. A small selection of speciality cat and dog foods and some toys and accessories available. Accepts Afterpay for payments including vaccinations, worming etc. Highly recommended.

That was one of the kindest interactions and I am so grateful. The St Kilda vet has been such a wonderful support and provided the best care for our dogs over the years. Negative experience: The front office staffs were not very supportive. They were not kind to give any information when asked twice. Also they showed racist behaviour. Very disappointed that they didn't spend a few mins to cuddle the 3 months puppy which we took to them..For sure I am not taking my puppy any more to vet life St Kilda center. Appreciate please take this as a feedback and be kind with all people irrespective of their color and ethnicity.

Fantastic experience: Lovely, friendly staff that continue to take good care when treating my 2 kittens. Came in for a check up, vaccines and preventative worm tablets. The vets were open to my questions each time and gave me useful information to help me be a great pet parent. Appointments were punctual, was easy to get a car park on site and I appreciate their availability in a time when vets are scarce. Will keep coming back, thank you :)

Fantastic experience: I have been a client for 45 years through many of my cats lives and those difficult decisions. Always great service and emotions handled with compassion. Thank you all for your care over the years, esp tony who has been with me on so many journeys.

Negative experience: My cat had passed away, they asked if we wanted ink paw prints and when we said yes, we never got them. They also asked if we wanted a clay paw print which we did get but it’s not a very good job. They asked if we had any other requests and we said whiskers, fur and her teeth, they gave us some whiskers but they were cut from her so they were very short. They didn’t give any fur. They said they would need to sedate my cat to get her teeth even though they knew she was dead, they then said it was an odd request and that they’ve never been asked it before. Luckily it was my mother talking to them and not me otherwise I would’ve gone off at the rude worker. We never got her teeth. Wouldn’t recommend. Edit: I ended up getting her nose and paw ink prints but they were very badly done, disappointing.

Negative experience: Terrible care for my puppy Bella,no formal diagnosis why this was happening over 4 week period. Clair at St Kilda vet has no compassion, very harsh and treated us bad at our consultation. I don't recommend taking any animals to this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I had a very bad experience with my previous vet clinic where there was a lack of communication and we just didn't understand what was happening with our pets and why, and what our responsibilities were too (around medications, symptoms etc). St Kilda have been very patient with us and taken the time to explain everything really carefully and make sure we understand. I have really appreciated this approach. The vet industry is pushed to the limit right now making the service and care provided to us and our cat all the more special. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I've been here a few times for various ailments with the pets and the team have always been very professional. There's been no surprises with unexpected treatments and whenever I've asked pricing they have always given me good estimates. Naturally with pets, there have been times (too many) when I have had to say goodbye and even with this the team have been professional and supportive. They will light a special candle on their counter to show others that someone is saying goodbye to their loved one.

Fantastic experience: We have taken our canary Ed here twice in the past year or so and have been very happy with the professional and pragmatic advice provided by their bird specialist.
