Fantastic experience: I've been with this vet service for as long as I've had my dog Loki, (actually longer), and I've never seen anything even resembling bad service from them. The staff always have a smile and a pleasant greeting, and have always shown empathy for my animals and myself, they are also not money hungry like some other practises, of course vet care is very expensive these days like everything else as vets have got families of their own to provide for as well, if they can save you money by giving you free advice or free samples though they will. I feel lucky to be able to access the best in vet care for my furry family members and sometimes a friend that needs a helping hand for their animals as well.

Negative experience: I visited this clinic earlier in the week for my dog’s ongoing ear problem. We had already been in previously and were sent home with ear drops, which did not resolve the issue (the first visit was around $300). We returned on Tuesday for the same problem and were charged just under $200. I was told the vet needed additional time to determine the cause, and my dog was prescribed prednisone and sent home with capsules. I was also advised to book a follow-up appointment for a slow-release ear treatment to be administered by a nurse on Friday. Before leaving on Tuesday, I asked for an estimated cost so I could plan ahead and was told the treatment would be roughly $110–$120. Before today’s appointment, I phoned to ask whether the nurse could also check and clip my dog’s front nails while we were there. I was told this would be fine. After the ear treatment and nail clip—an appointment that took about 10 minutes—I was presented with a bill for $208. I was informed the additional cost was because my dog’s nails were considered “long,” resulting in a higher fee. The nail clip alone was charged at $57, and the nurse’s fee was $65. We are on a tight budget, and the unexpected charges were extremely disappointing—especially after being quoted a much lower estimate. Despite spending hundreds of dollars, my dog’s condition has not improved, and I left feeling frustrated and let down by the lack of transparency and the escalating costs. We will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: So impressed with our new Vets. They got us in months earlier than our old vets could for a procedure. Alot cheaper than we thought and great care of our old dog. Vet Nurse Kayla is amazing and so knowledgeable, thorough and lovely with our old girl. Highly recommend

Negative experience: Very disappointed in VetENTs they miss diagnosisd my dog twice on 2 different occasions, second time they missed heart failure as kennal cough and a grand 5 heart murmur, no medicationgiven for heart murmur at all. First time time was wanting to surgical fix or amputated my girls leg I turnedthis down for meds instead. We are now looking at putting our girl down thanks to a vet who didn't know the basic.

Fantastic experience: I was a previous client from years ago and was worried my file would not exist but they still had my account on file and we were able to return to them. I was so happy as they are such an amazing team, extremely helpful and were amazing at answering all our questions regarding our little Jack. Fantastic experience: My dog was unwell and took her in, worried and unsure. However after my consultation I left happy knowing what I can do to help my dog feel better. Such friendly and knowledgeable team.

Negative experience: The vet was in the tiniest little hot room with an awful noisy little fridge and modem box. She was good at her job but obviously burdened by her working conditions. Treat your employees better!! Get them air conditioning! Dont make them stand next to a danky noisy fridge! You’re a health service

Negative experience: Rang and left a message, didn’t get any phone call back. I myself called them back two days later and was told ‘we don’t see animals for second opinions’ Horrid service and I would not use this place again. Lady on the phone was rude and not helpful or sympathetic for my situation with my loved kitty cat.

Fantastic experience: Always great service from staff, have never had to wait more than a day or so for an appt. Our animals get amazing care when they visit & get pretty excited when they realise where they are ( well, maybe not the cat so much).

Negative experience: Appalling service. We have been using this vet for both our dogs for the three years we have lived in Mosgiel. Yesterday my dog suddenly started yelping and collapsed with paralyzed rear legs. I rushed him in to the vets. Carried him in and was told to take him somewhere else because someone was off sick. Took him to Murray's. Within 5 minutes, he was in bed and I was told they xray him and get back to me. It's not that hard.

Negative experience: I went in to get a check up for my dog’s ear infection and the vet didn’t even tell me if he has an infection or not after thorough checking. The vet was asking me to come in again the next day but that just sounded like extortion. My visit was a waste because they didn’t give me a proper diagnosis. The vet even asked me to go to another vet! Waste of money.

Fantastic experience: VetEnt Mosgiel are great with rescue cats and go out of the way to try and figure out what is wrong and keep you as informed as possible.

Fantastic experience: Great friendly professional service. Can’t recommend the team at VetEnt highly enough. We don't live close to Mosgiel, and have a few vets closer to us but it's worth the trip. They look after our German Shepard Rosa so well.

Negative experience: I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed with this vet thier experience is limited which cost me hundreds of dollars. I do not recommend this veterinary service at all

Fantastic experience: The team were great with my cat I sadly had to put down about 6 months ago. They helped me till the very end. Particular mention to Kristen and the team who stayed with her till the end it was a comfort knowing everything that could be done to help her was done. I stil continue to take my other cats here as the staff are nice and friendly:)
