Fantastic experience: We were very worried about a lump we found on our dog, we got an appointment the day after we called, Malcolm was very reassuring and confident which put us at ease. Turns out it was an infection and all fixed and healthy after a bout of antibiotics.

We're usually with another vet in town but when we had an emergency with our cat where he could've died and our usual vet wouldn't taken him cause we didnt have the money so we took him to Melcolm at The Vets and they took my cat in straight away and were the most kind hearted vets! Didn't make us feel bad for not having the funds straight out they only cared that my cat was fine! This is the only vets ill be taking my animals to from now on! Have recommended to everyone! Thanks to them my babys healthy and thriving!

Fantastic experience: I recently had our 3 year-old labradoodle spayed, and I can’t speak highly enough of Malcolm and the team. From start to finish, Malcolm was incredibly thorough, clear, and reassuring. He explained everything concisely, answered all of my questions with patience, and made sure I felt completely comfortable with the procedure. What really stood out was the level of care and attention to detail. Although there was the potential for complications from a genetic blood clotting issue, everything was handled expertly and smoothly, and there were no issues at all. It was clear that Malcolm prioritised both safety and compassion every step of the way. My girl recovered beautifully, and I am so grateful for the professionalism and genuine care shown to her (and to me). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Malcolm to anyone looking for a skilled, knowledgeable, and truly caring veterinarian. Thank you again for such outstanding care.

Fantastic experience: Following a recommendation, we brought our puppy Hazel up from Wellington to be neutered, and the road trip was well worth it. Every staff member we met, from the phone booking until I picked Hazel up, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about proper pet (and vet) care. Even taking into account the cost of driving up, the procedure was much cheaper than our local Wellington vet - but the service, support, and after care was anything but budget. Fantastic experience: Malcolm Anderson & the team at "The Vet" were outstanding, particularly with my difficult, high-stress dog. The team showed a high level of skill, patience, and confidence in handling my not-easy dog, choosing the most appropriate medication, reading the dog well, and keeping stress to an absolute minimum. Their calm, respectful approach made a huge difference. From the first phone call to aftercare follow-up, communication and professionalism were exceptional. I’ve lived in many places and had many animals over the years — and therefore many vets — and this team is right up there with the very best. We came on recommendation, and I only regret not finding them sooner. I won’t be taking my animals anywhere else.

We are over the moon with the service and care our dog got. We have found an amazing Vet clinic.

Negative experience: Euthanasia for our dearly loved dog was poorly managed. It was a highly emotional time and felt the whole situation was very transactional. To say she wouldn't know if we were there or not once she was asleep was an insult as we know out pets are highly sensitive and communicate on an emotional level. Sad for this as previously had excellent interactions with the team. I would only recommend being at home with your pet and having them Euthanased there

Our dog gets very anxious about vet visits due to some really bad past experiences elsewhere. We shared this with Malcolm and the nurses at The Vet, and they were incredibly understanding. They kindly offered to administer the vaccination in our car, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We're very grateful to Malcolm and the team at The Vet.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Malcolm Anderson and the amazing team at The Vet enough. When my puppy Kaio broke her leg, they were absolutely incredible — not just with her, but with me as well. Malcolm was calm, professional, and clear, and all the girls at the clinic were so kind and gentle with Kaio. They helped put me at ease during such a stressful time and gave Kaio the best care I could have hoped for. You can tell they really love what they do. So grateful to have them as our vet team! The girls also put in extra effort to make sure Kaio had the cutest casts whenever she had to get them changed !

We had an emergency situation with our ragdoll and they took him within the hour and took such amazing care of him. Fantastic experience: We have been with The Vet - Malcom Anderson for over a year now and our only regret is that we didn't sign up with him sooner! It is always easy to get an appointment, the online function is great. The team are always super helpful and gentle with Oakley. We are lucky to have Malcolm as our vet - he has just the right calm approach for our Oakley each time and we always leave feeling heard and clear on what is going on. Highly recommend this vet!

Fantastic experience: Affordable, even dog vaccines for pet owners on a budget, there definitely the vet to go infact a 3rd of the cost rest of vets charge, animates being the most at some wat $300, there my local vet forever now! Freya had a massive 8 puppies, so will be seeing you soon vaccines worms n check... she a doting mum with lots of socializing becoming use to humans, less ( growly) thank you Malcolm see u soon

Fantastic experience: Our young lab had a nasty accident recently that required urgent veterinary attention. The team quickly sorted him out with pain relief and had a good look at his injury. I found Malcolm and the team very caring and efficient and would not hesitate to recommend them if you need a great Vet.

Fantastic experience: The team at the vet was so lovely and helpful, had one cat speyed and the other neutered and they weren't groggy or sore at all, they both bounced back within hours of surgery which showed how gentle and careful they were. I definitely recommend their services:)

The lady at reception (i’m sorry i didn’t catch your name) was insanely kind and helpful, she was so sweet and understanding the whole time and same goes for malcolm the vet we saw. He was super kind, set a treatment plan for our babies fast and was knowledgeable, thank you for being so awesome! Fantastic experience: A few weeks ago I went missing I was hiding because I had hurt my leg. My mum called The Vet to see if we could have an appointment. Calem the vet nurse was so nice. He said they were very busy helping other animals but that they were able to squeeze me in that very same morning. He even lent mum a cat cage because she had brought me in a cardboard box I saw MY vet Malcolm. He seemed to know what he was doing and had a treatment plan sorted in no time. I didn't even mind the injections or the medicine I have to have sprinkled on my food. Mum said it didn't hurt too much in her purse$$$ either I'm still a bit hoppy but am definitely on the mend.
