Normally, I loathe leaving my kingdom (a.k.a. the sunny spot on the sofa), but the second I pranced through those doors, I knew I was among my people. They greeted me with soft voices, called me ‘pretty girl,’ and even admired my perfectly groomed whiskers — as they should. The vet was so gentle during my check-up, and I barely even flicked my tail when they looked at my ears and poked my tummy. They made sure my human understood everything, so I can continue living my best nine lives in luxury. Five purrs, five stars — highly recommend to all my fellow feline queens.”

Fantastic experience: Provided vital and exceptional care for our cat who had an injury and was brought in by a good Samaritan. We are so thankful for the considerable knowledge and care provide to our cat in his dire need. We normally book with another vet, who was able to work with this one so we did not have to move him. Staff were so kind and the advice the vet gave was excellent. Thank you for saving our old man. We have bought a catio and will be monitoring our cat babies much more closely. THANK YOU.

Fantastic experience: I had a positive experience with Animates Vetcare. I had a semi-urgent situation arise with my cat being unwell. The vet nurse I spoke to was very helpful in deciding whether the cat needed to be seen urgently or could wait till the afternoon (and would have revised this if he got worse). I found the vet we saw very reassuring. She was able to work well with my timid cat, and my cat was nowhere near as freaked out by the experience as I expected. The vet clearly explained the two options for management and why she thought one more suitable, and I chose the option I was most comfortable with for my cats age and stage. We did subcutaneous fluids, and once again my cat was surprising accepting of this procedure. She gave me a lot of information about what to look for in case things deteriorated etc. My cat is now well and happy. I was surprised the vet remembered my cat, even after only seeing him once, which I had not expected. The only criticism I have is they did not respond to the initial message I left promptly, HOWEVER it was the 4th of January (the first day they were open following the break) so this needs to be taken into account. Also they did fit my cat in to be seen on their first day open, which was fantastic. I had expected to have to take him to an emergency vet. Very happy and well use again.
