Fantastic experience: Caring and professional - I have had two pet cats looked after by them. Sadly, the first succumbed to renal failure and had to be euthanised. They took care of the process compassionately and also organised the cremation of her remains. The replacement kitty has been under their care as well and has pulled through more scrapes and injuries owing to her tomboyish nature but the treatments were done very well.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been taking our dog here for four years and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The staff are super friendly and professional. Our dog gets nervous at the vet, and the staff are so patient and understanding and take such good care of him. They also have great opening hours and it’s always easy to get an appointment when we need. Their prices are reasonable too. Very grateful to have found a vet clinic we trust so much!

Fantastic experience: I cant speak highly enough of Keryn, she is the best vet who is thorough, caring and passionate about her job, and care of your pet. I switched from my previous vets after seeing her because she made sure everything was investigated and taken care of and I knew my cat Moki would be looked after properly , both now and in the years going forward. Keryn is so knowledgeable and I couldn't trust in better care than here at Northlands Animal Care hospital. If you want a vet who is the best (Keryn) then I recommend this place fully. Keryn makes sure you and your cat are happy and cared for.

Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of meeting Martha last Thursday for our young boxer dogs vaccination KC and to discuss her skin allergy. Martha was so friendly and super informative, thank you.Bree was also very friendly and helpful. Kieran and Silvi have been our vets for a long time and have always given 100% with our pets and kept us well informed. We are lucky to have a great team close by.

Fantastic experience: We took our 16 year old cat, Cosmo, in for a checkup. Staff were friendly in setting up consultation and giving advice. Dr Keryn was great with Cosmo and gave effective advice on ensuring Cosmo has comfortable senior years. Tino pai & Ngā mihi nui Keryn.

Fantastic experience: Recently moved to Christchurch ,They happily took on my dog Ben and preformed a surgery for an ear issue .Staff are friendly and very caring for your animal and were super transparent about the procedure and great with communication, followed up the next day with a call to see how he was . Im really glad I chose these guys .Thanks so much for everything again guys

Very knowledgeable staff and have been great at the after care. Staff have gone above and beyond to answer all my questions and the after care check ins have been a great assurance. In particular Keryn and Bree! I immediately changed vets to these guys! Can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I just called to discuss a couple things prior to viewing a new puppy and I spoke with Chris on the reception line who was so lovely and had some great discussion points that I could be asking the breeder about. I really appreciated his time as not yet clients but after my discussion with him I will definitely be signing my new pup here. To get someone who didn't rush me on the phone and was really helpful and genuinely cared was much appreciated. Thank you Chris!

They are all so helpful and go beyond expectations. They even rang to check up on our cat the following week to see how she was doing and have given us really great advice. Fantastic experience: Great service. All vets are knowledgeable and very caring. My timid cat is very relaxed being handled by them and everyone I talk to in the waiting room speak very highly of the vets and the care of their pets. They also stock a good range of foods and information leaflets. I am happy to recommend them to anyone. With the great care from Keryn, my 16 year old is still hooning up and down the hallway.

Fantastic experience: Took my cat here on a weekend as our vets were shut. Really knowledgeable vet who told us simply that she had concerns re the injury our cat had. She was really knowledgeable about the injury and gave us medication and drops. Since going and having a conversation about potentially removing our cats eye due to the injury, it seems to be almost back to normal thanks to the medication provided. Very happy we decided to visit! Thanks!

Negative experience: I'm angry and furious... My wife came home in tears after the treatment by you people. No compassion. After a mix up with her after pay, you take her only thing of value an old bracelet, you have our address to make sure we pay. It's belittling. You even refused tthe cats pain meds, a bit in human dont uyou think. You also said 400.and it was way over that. A lesson in being human is needed. edit. We have taken our dog and cat to you in the past and always paid. Never said we wouldn't pay. But after miss hearing the verbal quote was shocked at the total cost. Just asked for a wee bit of grace and some compassion to an existing ng customer. And due to the after pay app not working which agreed is no ones fault but was the only payment option at the time. She was stressed and frazzelled You have no idea what a person is going through or dealing with. To degrade her, be little and embassarass a person who didn't want to leave a. loved family member in pain after an infection. She has not stopped crying and was on the verge of a full blown panic attack due to being made to feel humiliated Neither one of us will be stepping foot in that place but will send in a family member to pay. I expect the heirloom bracelet that you made her take off her person to be returned. It holds no significance monetary value, but is sentimental as passed down the family treefrom her Nana.

Our Harley has had issues with lameness and the team have looked after her so well, so well that she gets excited and is full of smiles every time she visits. From walking in the door, consult and leaving, everyone is kind, friendly and smiling. You can tell the staff love and care about their furry patients. Keryn is extremely knowledgeable, caring, passionate and genuinely wants the best for your pet. The standard of care here is Paw-some!! I can't recommend NACH enough! We saw a lovely vet, Dr. Karen Valu - Her empathy, knowledge, and genuine care for animals (and their owners) makes her a standout professional. She is clear with advice but compassionate too. Dr. Valu listens, takes the time to understand my concerns and carefully considers the options and best course. Fantastic experience: What!!! Did you say Sylvi lets go mum lets go lets go. Thats the reaction I get from my dogs when I tell them we are off to the vet to see Sylvi and all our other friends. These guys are truely amazing and careing. I am sure they know every pet individualy that walk through their doors. Although they are very busy they always have time when you really need them. My dogs have a few issues going on, but everything is kept on top off allowing them to still enjoy their old age. The vets here are brilliant at understanding not only the pets needs but also that off the owners, and who gets a signed xmas card from all the staff now days. Every xmas we gat a card and its those small things that make you feel more than just an ATM. Great that they are open 7 days as its a bit like your teeth, can guarantee toothache on a weekend and cant get to a dentist. Puts your mind at ease knowing your doggy doctor is just a call away 7 days. Nurses are all super friendly and the place is always super clean easy accesible with a heap of parking. I live quite a long way from Northlands Animal Care but still travel as I feel its worth it as my pets are comfortable here the vets are amazing and they provide a top notch service. NooNoo, Miley, Misty, and Theo would all agree..

Fantastic experience: My dog had his cruciate repair done here. The team were AMAZING and reassuring at this stressful time. The injury and my options were explained clearly, surgery was prompt and Mari provided great physio after his op.

Negative experience: No one should take their pets here horrible service

Negative experience: My wife brought our family rabbit "Buster" to Northlands animal care hospital, only to be turned away because she did not have an appointment, They did not check Buster over, or attempt to triage at all, with only that we needed an appointment as the explanation! How are you supposed to book an appointment in a life-or-death situation? Buster died on the way to the next vet. Terrible service, and you can tell by the owner's responses that there is no remorse and that this is common practice.

Fantastic experience: The most amazing team. We are just do blessed to have such amazing vets. We travel out from north Canterbury north every time just because we TRUST them. They show compassion, experience, just overall excellent at what they do. They take such FANTASTIC care and best advise for our pets. Truly superhero’s. ❤️

Negative experience: If I could put a zero I would. I had my dying rabbit in my arms to than be told, sorry we are fully booked. (Which I had been to this vet with my rabbit before so yes a patient) I didn’t realise people planned their animals to be dying? Absolutely disgusting care and goes to show they really don’t care for animals at all. Disgusting! I’ll be making sure to let everyone know not to use this company. Edit- the is a complete lie! No one even looked at my rabbit!? So how did they judge that? He did actually pass away in my arms and didn’t make it there so thank you for putting myself and my rabbit through that. Horrible business and care!
