Fantastic experience: My darling Hunter had been unwell for awhile, Animates tried to find out what was going on with her, they treated us so wonderfully. In the end we had to put my darling down. Animates were amazing! And sent the most beautiful condolence card with Hunters paw prints! Forever grateful for the care they showed us ❤️

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service this morning for our girl Gypsy. Absolutely lovely vet we had helping us out, very informative and kind with us and our girl. As always the vet is not her favourite place but it went smoothly so thank you all for your support and hard work. Highly recommend this vet for your pets, they’ll be in safe hands. They took really good care of her throughout the whole process and even afterwards with follow ups to see how she was getting on The practice ensured I understood the whole procedure and the aftercare to follow. Would recommend their services if your pet is like one of your children thanks for the great service.

They are so dedicated and passionate about helping pets and make sure that they are handled in a low-stress manner. Fantastic experience: My 14 year old dog Dougie recently needed minor surgery to remove a growth on his forehead. After tests to check that he could have general anaesthetic Dr Carl successfully removed the growth with no after effects by my Dougie. Nor only was Dr Carl professional but friendly and caring, so were the nurses and ladies at reception. Heartfelt thanks team. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Fantastic experience: We have always been impressed by vets here. A few years ago we moved house and changed vets, but recently we decided it's worth driving a bit further for the standard of care and professionalism Petone Vetcare offer. They are thorough, caring, and always involve you in decisions about your animals.When we found a lost dog in the street they took it in, did a microchip scan and looked after it until it was transferred to the Council (no owner info on chip). When it was claimed by its owners, they made sure to let us know. Awesome team with real hearts!

Negative experience: The staff are lovely and helpful. The parent company Animates system has something wrong that trying to rip ordinary people off as they are a chain business. Their initial consultation cost $120 which is 40% more than most of the local vet, they prescribed us a dog shampoo cost $70 and we find it on local store for $45. Their miner surgery cost $800-$1400 while it's half price in other district vet. We are just ordinary work people, we aren’t that fancy to go a luxury brand like this. Overall, friendly staff, terrible price. Not recommend for ordinary work class people.

She did an incredible job and I am so grateful. My puppy is currently very scared of strangers but he warmed to her immediately (and didn't bark!!). Highly recommend her. Seriously considering moving vets now. Thank you very much :)

The staff were friendly and the vet that I saw communicated well and took the time to do a thorough examination. We weren't rushed through as I've experienced before at other places. I was given a lot of detail and had a follow up call with all the information and time to ask questions that I needed. Easily recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend this vet enough. Such kind, friendly staff who are always so excited to see my fur baby, and they remember him from our previous visits which is so lovely. Very clear explanations of medication, they take us through the options (price wise and health wise). We had a scare with our dog having multiple seizures, but luckily he responded to the medication and the team at this vet have been amazing with the follow up care.

Fantastic experience: We have been taking our cat and dog here for 3 years now and cannot fault them. I would normally be put of by commercially Branded vet clinics but Nani and the other staff have been nothing but 5star.

Fantastic experience: Great vet. Very friendly. Jinx was going in for her annual checkup and vaccinations. Jinx had been worried about her weight but when the vet said "Well she's not obese" her eyes lit up and she could relax while she was poked and prodded. A fun time was had by all.

Positive experience: Can't believe what they charge for kitten food! We went back to Kitten Inn and bought ours from there instead
