Fantastic experience: Amazing Vets, from the very first moment I walked in I noticed the positive and caring atmosphere. When the vets came out they patted the dogs and were genuinely happy to see the people and their Animals. They also have expertise with smaller mammals, in my case we bought in a sick rat and the Vet we saw Dr Ana Radisa was so knowledgeable and understanding, she even took the time to speak on the phone for follow up advice for free which was so helpful when a pet isn't doing well. Also when I first called the practice the lady that answered the phone was very knowledgeable and caring. Cannot recommend these Vets highly enough very impressed.

Fantastic experience: Such a great vet! Will keep them as our vet for sure. Our little ditsy loved it there and it was so good to know she was completely fine and that her second vaccination was so smooth ditsy didn't even feel it!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding care and customer service. I recently visited as a new customer and they were kind, gentle and knowledgeable which helped my fur baby. They also found new symptoms which hadn’t been picked up before in Bella. I’m so thankful that I’m aware of these problems and now I can quickly address them. If you’re new to the city and looking for a knowledgeable and kind vet this is the one! 10/10

Fantastic experience: Caring and helpful, Everyone is so lovely

Fantastic experience: Kelburn Vets is amazing. They were my cat’s vet for around 4 years and I wish they had been for his entire life. He had some health issues so we saw all 3 of their vets more than once – Vanessa, Ana and Brendon are all incredible. They recommend what’s best for your pet and don’t tell you to undergo unreasonably intense interventions. My boy passed away this week, but Vanessa ensured the euthanasia process was very peaceful and reassured us that it was time. Their entire team was very supportive, helpful, and available during the final chapter of his life.

Fantastic experience: Great service. Fast acting, problem solved, and future advice and options were given. Reasonable prices and they specialised in smaller pets like our Rat Rox. I definitely recommend these guys!

Fantastic experience: They are the absolute best vets ever! They are incredibly caring, friendly, personable, and go above and beyond everytime. They also know their stuff. And if they come across an issue that is a bit more uncommon they will put in the time and effort to research it. I'm eternally grateful to them for saving the life of one of my cats with emergency surgery. And my other cat, who is afraid of pretty much anyone, is really comfortable with the vets here.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend kelburn vets enough. Our rabbits, Dorothy and Clive, have been extremely well cared for by the expertise and skills of Brendon, Ana, Alex and Christie. They have been extremely accommodating and have saved the lives of our rabbits more than once with great diagnoses, surgical intervention when needed and medical support. Our rabbits do not go anywhere else as no where in Wellington (or perhaps even NZ) is capable of making correct diagnosis and treatment decisions. This team overall is extremely compassionate, sensitive, passionate about animal health and friendly. They treat our rabbits with the respect they deserve. I would give them over 5 stars/100% if I could. If they did human health, I'd trust them with my life too.

Fantastic experience: Very good facilities. The Vet Brendon is obviously experienced with small pets, and explained things very well, even my daughter understood her pet's condition. Oh, the couple who went before brought a chicken! These guys know their stuff. Consistently good service. Even the pets love them!

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff and vets every time we go here for care of our cat. Reasonably priced and staff are accommodating to fitting in pets for same day appointments based on symptoms.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Kelburn Vets have been fantastic and have taken great care of my 2 young cats, who have made a neighbourhood enemy resulting in infected cat bites (one particularly bad). The team always get us seen really quickly and were able to perform 2 surgeries as soon as they were needed. I’m very grateful for such fantastic service and support.

Fantastic experience: Kelburn Vets have been the vet for our family dog for 13 years (and counting!) and my own personal one for 2 years (and counting as well!) They are the absolute best, I am so, so thankful and grateful for the brilliant, skilled and gentle vets, and the amazing support staff that makes the whole operation possible. They supported me during the loss of one of my dogs, and I just can’t express how grateful I am for their care during that process. That will always be in my heart. Wellington’s best veterinary in my opinion :) thank you forever!

Fantastic experience: My partner and I brought our two young cats to Kelburn Vets after doing a little research on our local vets and we couldn't be happier with the service. Ana gave the kittens their last shots, a good check over and even helped us get their nails cut despite us not having booked in for it. She was so patent and calm with them both, and such a lovely and reassuring person to talk to. Whenever we call or come in, the reception team and everyone else we come across is so friendly and helpful. <3

Fantastic experience: I absoluetly love Kelburn Vets. Brendon and the team there are so friendly and knowledgeable. As I have 10 Bunnies, we are regulars there, but I'm always so happy with the care provided. Brendon and Ana are so so lovely, and have helped my multiple times in emergencies. Huge shout out to Crystal, Alex, and Leigh!!! You guys are amazing (especially Crystal who was so calm and awesome when she found me waiting outside the Vet at 7:30 in the morning with my rabbit who was in Stasis). Everytime I walk in there I know that my bunnies are in great hands. Brendon is so incredibly Rabbit savvy! He's helped treat various brain hemorages, seizures and so so many other things. Fantastic experience: An excellent vet clinic with a team is highly skilled, sympathetic and knowledgeable. Especially when it comes to smaller animals, such as guinea pigs and rabbits. I definetly recommend.

Negative experience: Unprofessional and uncommunicative service. Arrogant and unhelpful vet on site who you shouldn’t dare question or they will refuse to see your animals and withdraw the order for the much needed medication for your animals as they did with me.

Fantastic experience: Brendon is one of the best medical professionals (human or animal) we've ever encountered, and the whole team at Kelburn Vets is awesome too. Incredible rabbit knowledge, Brendon always keeps our Flemish Giant calm and healthy. We can't recommend this vet highly enough. Very reasonably priced for the level of service we get, as well.

Fantastic experience: They have been absolutely amazing dealing with my cat. They developed a clear recovery plan for her throughout the process. Which they communicated clearly to myself so I understood what the next steps were, reducing uncertainty. She was seen by two different vets, the communication between the two was fantastic. They knew exactly how each of her previous check ups had gone, meaning I didn't need to fill in the details. Additionally their receptionist gave extra support regarding her diet ect.

Fantastic experience: The nurses and vets are a pleasure to deal with. I was in so much stressed since our bunny stopped eating but they let me do a drop off in a moment's notice. I feel they understand every pet owner's concern and for that this is a definit "go-to" place for any pet-related concern.

Brendon is very knowledgable and thorough, taking time to cover all possible issues. Our pup has responded really well to his treatment plan. The other staff here are lovely too! Really nice vet clinic. Best I've been to in Wellington (and the UK). Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great vet office! We have a sweet, but skittish cat that doesn't like strangers at all. Brendon is awesome - super patient and gentle. After a few visits, it seems as though she is getting used to him and not freaking out about going to the vet as much. Great front office staff too - and nice that they have weekend appointments.

Fantastic experience: My cat, Poos, had been in a fight and was in a lot of pain. Although he's the sweetest little boy with me, he's usually not so good with people who aren't me. Kelburn vets were nice and calm, and Poos responded to them really well, he's also doing really well now.

Positive experience: Nice staff and very knowledgeable vets. Place has been updated since I had been there adding another exam room. Waiting room is pretty standard, always street parking available. Cats never seem to like going but vets treat them well and do their best to make them comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I really want to recognise the amazing work of Kelburn Vets. My dog, Jethro, had many vets in his time but once we started taking him to Kelburn, they were Jethro's "peeps". He was too big for the cages there so - no lie - he had a consulting room just for him, if he was waiting on an operation or treatment. He was always super-spoiled by the vets and nurses there. They worked miracles with him, including a huge operation on a benign tumour on his head (thank you, Brendon and co). When it came to say goodbye, they were incredibly compassionate, empathetic, kind and gentle - it was as if his extended whānau was farewelling him. I felt that he was among people who really loved him. I never felt that Jethro was a patient at Kelburn. I felt that he was your friend. Thanks, guys - more than I can say.
